Actual aspects of blood pressure variability in arterial hypertension

Abstract


This article presents the review of literature data about clinical significance of blood pressure variability in patients with arterial hypertension. The most frequently analyzed indices of blood pressure variability, features of classification are given. The results of studies on the relationship between the indices of blood pressure variability and the stratification of cardiovascular risks are presented. The data on the peculiarities of treating patients with arterial hypertension taking into account the blood pressure variability are reviewed.
